About Gate28 – compensation for delayed flights & cancelled flights

Gate28 was started in 2015 as a vehicle to fight for airline compensation for passengers in Europe. By providing a fast no-win no-fee hassle free service, we have already helped thousands of passengers claim compensation for flight delays and cancelled flights, receiving up to 600€ per person.

We found that only 5.4% of passengers affected by cancelled flights, delays or were denied boarding know their rights and bother to claim the flight compensation to which they are rightfully entitled; because they are unaware of their right to airline compensation after a 3-hour delay or aren’t confident of the outcome when claiming compensation for delayed flights direct from the airline – most claims are rejected.

Our mission

We want to make sure that flight passengers are aware of their rights and to provide a quick cost effective and risk free service that is open to all eligible flight passengers. Gate28 will be the “Gate” between Regulation and Compensation

Gate28 makes successful flight claims for flight passengers affected by delayed flights and cancellations. If necessary, we go to court for any client with a valid flight compensation claim and we don’t charge any money for this service until we have won the case. We work on a simple commission basis, which will only be requested when compensation is awarded.

Flight passengers’ compensation entitlements

EU Regulation 261/2004 entitles flight passengers to claim up to 600€ in compensation for flights delayed for at least 3 hours, cancelled flights and if the passenger was denied boarding, as long as no extraordinary circumstances occurred.

EUclaim partnership

Gate28’s super quick online compensation calculator is powered by established flight delay claim experts EUclaim to give instant access to the amount of airline compensation expected.

Gate28 has access to EUclaim’s extensive in-house database and data about millions of flight, weather and sociopolitical details compiled and archived daily to be used when defending future flight delay claims.

We possess more detailed and accurate information on flight movements, weather reports and strikes than any national authority, arbitration agency or even the airlines. This vast wealth of information enables Gate28 to challenge the airlines on whether they can claim “extraordinary circumstances” to avoid paying compensation.

High values and committed service

We want to make sure everyone who is entitled to airline compensation has access to a service that they can rely on, safe in the knowledge that any administration and court cases are diligently followed through, and up to date information about individual claims can be accessed online instantly.

Specialist legal services

If you are eligible to receive flight compensation we will go to court to make sure you get it. Gate28 works with a team of legal experts and high quality claim handlers Gate28 which allows us to expedite the process. We bear all legal cost expenses – court costs included – and only receive commission if your case is successful.
